Sales Contract (Distance Selling Agreement)
LOU INTERNATIONAL LTD / Layers of Urban
This Sales Contract (“Agreement”) is made between LOU INTERNATIONAL LTD (“Seller”) and the person placing an order on layersofurban.com (“Buyer”) for the sale and delivery of goods purchased online.
1) Parties

The individual placing the order via the Site, using the details supplied at checkout (name, address, contact email, and delivery address).
2) Scope of Agreement
This Agreement governs the sale and delivery of products that the Buyer purchases electronically through layersofurban.com, including the rights and responsibilities of both parties once an order is placed and accepted.
3) Products, Price & Payment

Product details (name, quantity, unit price), taxes, delivery charges (if any), discounts, and total price are shown clearly on the Site at checkout and on the invoice/receipt.

Payment is processed securely using the payment methods offered at checkout.

The Seller may refuse to dispatch until payment has been authorised.
4) Delivery

Goods will be delivered to the delivery address specified by the Buyer at checkout.

The Seller will fulfil orders promptly, but delivery times are estimates and may vary due to regional conditions, courier capacity, or peak periods.

The Seller is not responsible for courier delays but will provide reasonable support to help resolve issues.

If the Buyer provides incorrect or incomplete address/contact information, any extra costs or delivery issues arising are the Buyer’s responsibility.
5) Right to Cancel & Returns
5.1 Right to Cancel
Under UK law, Buyers have a 14-day cooling-off period beginning the day after delivery of the goods. They can cancel their order within this period without giving any reason.
5.2 How to Cancel
To exercise the cancellation right, the Buyer must notify the Seller at hello@layersofurban.com with the order number within the 14-day period.
5.3 Return Conditions
Returned items must be:

Unused and unworn
-
Unwashed
-
With original tags and packaging intact
Items that show signs of wear, odour, stains, deformation, or cleaning marks may be rejected.
6) Hygiene & Returns Exclusions
Certain products may not be returned if they cannot, for hygiene reasons, be reasonably considered unused once delivered (e.g., socks or underwear). The Seller may inspect such returns and refuse refunds where items do not meet return conditions.
7) Return Shipping Costs

If an item is faulty, damaged, or incorrect, the Seller will cover return postage costs.

For returns due to change of mind, the return postage cost is the Buyer’s responsibility.
8) Refunds
Refunds will be issued to the original payment method once:

The return is received, and
-
The goods are inspected and accepted
Refunds will be processed promptly and no later than 14 days from receipt of the return (or earlier if practical).
9) Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Deliveries
If the Buyer receives damaged, defective, or incorrect goods, they should contact the Seller as soon as possible with supporting photos or videos to allow us to assess the issue and arrange a resolution.
10) Contract Formation
A legally binding contract is formed when the Seller sends the Buyer an order confirmation email, confirming acceptance of the Buyer’s offer. Online contracts are enforceable under UK law when this acceptance is communicated.
11) Governing Law & Jurisdiction
This Agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales.
UK consumers retain all statutory rights under applicable UK consumer protection legislation.
12) Agreement Acceptance
By placing an order on layersofurban.com, the Buyer confirms that they have read, understood, and agree to this Sales Contract.
